Chillin’ out, maxin’, relaxin’ all cool. I graduated from Life University with a BS in Biopsychology in 2013 and a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems in May 2015.
I have a colorful work history. I have worked at a movie theater, a shipping store, worked as a glass artist and got into technology professionally about 5 years ago. I have always loved technology and tinkered all of my life, which eventually led me to programming.
My love for technology began at a young age when I got a hold of a robot that my grandfather built. Ever since then I have been fascinated with how things work and how they can be used to help people. I really started to get into programming when I started college. I had done some simple HTML and CSS before to modify my friends and my Myspace pages but never anything serious. I then was introduced to Java in school and fell in love. From there I learned Java and eventually found myself learning PHP and haven’t looked back.
Nerdy Things I Love:
Unix, VIM, Gaming, MMORPGs, tinkering with obscure Operating Systems, comic books, movies, table top games, watching and reading science fiction stuff (especially Star Wars)
Other Things I Love:
I have been playing guitar for about 12 years now, as well as mandolin on and off for 3 years and enjoy having jam sessions and spending time with friends and family.
